Why we’re here…
My who, what, where, why and how is perfectly captured in Romans 8:28. This Scripture is what kept me when I couldn't keep myself. It is the truth of His Word that grounded me when I was unstable, it strengthened me when I felt I couldn't go on, it comforted me in the hard places, it gave me the courage to fight every giant and a hope that at some point, it had to get better. My hope rested in the God who cannot lie whose Word is infallible! I found the resolve to keep going because I had the assurance that everything no matter how difficult, challenging or indifferent had to work together for my good, because I loved Him and was called according to His purpose!
He's so good that He took all of my mishaps, bad decisions, disobedient and rebellion acts, and all the other stuff I did outside of His will and made it work together for my good. Though I didn't get to bypass the pain and consequences of my decisions, I did allow the lessons to make me better, wiser and stronger. My daily prayer is that my testimony will spark hope and encourage those who feel as though life has gotten the best of them, to remember that there is a Savior who still saves, redeems, restores, heals, delivers and has the power to make all things new. So new that no one would believe the things you've survived and overcome. When I tell you my story you'll understand just how new He can make things =)
This space was created to house some of the greatest lessons I've learned, the lessons I'm still learning, and the ones I've borrowed from others in one place. This will be the space where I share my heart, my struggles, my setbacks, my triumphs and victories. Here you will find my pure unadulterated truth as I journey to become everything that God has already said that I am and to possess the future He has already established for me.
My intention is to use my life as a classroom, where you can be educated, encouraged, equipped and empowered to execute biblical and practical principles learned from my experiences and the experiences of those within Scripture to propel you into the extraordinary future that God has in store for you!
For those of you who are discouraged, discontent, broken, feeling defeated, helpless and lost know that I've already been where you are and if you would just commit to partnering with God that there is a new life through Jesus Christ that is awaiting you, full of promise and possibility! It's not what I heard, it's what I know!
